![]() The Shotgun is the only weapon in the game which can be fired twice in one turn. Once locked on, the Homing Missile will only search for the target for about 5 seconds, after this it will lose power and drop to the ground gradually, so make sure your target isn't too far away. Be sure to use this time to fire the Missile away from or around any possible obstruction between yourself and the target. Remember that when you fire the Missile it will take about a second or so to lock onto the target. It is usually in short supply, so only use it when you really need it. The Homing Missile is an effective weapon to reach those hard to get targets. Just because the Bazooka is usually in infinite amount does not mean you should overlook its great versatility. If a worm can not be shot in a straight line due to an obstruction, it is possible for you to bend a shot round the obstruction by using the wind.

![]() The only iPad that’s heavier than the iPad 1 is the 12.9″ iPad Pro, which weighs 713 grams (Wi-Fi only model) and 723 grams (Wi-Fi & cellular), and both variants are still lighter than the cellular version of the iPad 1. For comparison, the current 6th-generation iPad weighs 469 grams. The cellular version is even heavier: 730 grams. It is the heaviest of the 9.7″ iPads: it weighs 680 grams. ![]() The iPad 1 was announced at the end of January 2010 and discontinued in March 2011.I try to give a purpose to (almost) every device I own, and this iPad 1 was no different.Ī quick refresher before I proceed, so that you can have an idea of my starting point. As I often say, I don’t like collecting stuff just to put it on a shelf and show to friends and acquaintances. I was excited and really looking forward to exploring this eight-year-old model I wanted to see whether I could get some use out of it. Well, my excellent mate David was so kind and generous as to send me an iPad 1 about ten days ago. It has no cameras, not on the front, not on the back. It’s thicker, with a slightly curved aluminium back. I was also intrigued by the hardware design: like the first iPhone, the first iPad is different from all the models that came after. I already had a third-generation iPod touch running iOS 5.1.1, but I wanted to see it on a bigger screen, and the iPad 1 can’t go past iOS 5.1.1. I’m still doing research for a little project on iOS’s user interface, so I’m looking for iOS devices where I can see past versions of iOS directly in action. In the case of the first-generation iPad (which I’ll henceforth refer to as “iPad 1”), my interest came mainly from a UI investigation perspective. Little by little, there’s this urge to take a closer look at such devices: Let’s see how useless they really are. When certain devices start being called ‘vintage’ or just plain ‘obsolete’ and ‘useless’, something clicks inside me. Family packs are also available for up to five people in a household.Spoiler: I’ve been having more fun than expected. MarsEdit 5 runs $59.95 for a new license, though owners of MarsEdit 4 can upgrade for just $29.95. It remains the best-in-class Mac blogging app that it’s been for more than fifteen years. In addition, developer Daniel Jalkut has made tweaks an enhancements throughout, adding a bunch of improvements that bring the app into line with the latest versions of macOS. There’s also a revamped rich text editor that provides better performance, a schmancy new icon, and-at long last-syntax highlighting for text written in Markdown. Version 5.0 of the app debuts today, following a public beta, and brings a number of much anticipated features, including a microposting interface accessible via a global keyboard shortcut that makes it easy to quickly dash off a blog post-though I do wish it had an “Advanced” mode for specifying some additional metadata for a post. The new microposting feature lets you write blog posts as easily as social media. If necessary, use the provided extension cable to extend the range of the pulse sensor to reach the water meter’s pulse output. The pulse sensor should be attached to the Flume device and the water meter according to the instructions provided in the Flume installation guide. The Flume device should be securely mounted to the water meter.Ĭonnect the Flume device to the pulse output of the water meter using the provided pulse sensor. Make sure that the water meter is accessible and that you have a Phillips head screwdriver or other appropriate tools on hand to remove the water meter cover (if necessary). Use a clean, dry cloth to wipe down the water meter and remove any debris or dirt that may interfere with the installation process. Step 3: Prepare for Installationīefore installing the Flume water monitor, it’s important to clean and dry the water meter and the surrounding area. After downloading the app, create a Flume account and follow the on-screen instructions to set up your device. The app is available for both iOS and Android devices and can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play Store. Once you have confirmed that your water meter is compatible with Flume, the next step is to download the Flume app on your smartphone. If you are unsure about the compatibility of your water meter, you can contact Flume customer support for assistance. Flume is compatible with most water meters, but it’s important to confirm that your water meter has a pulse output and is not an electronic meter. The first step in installing a Flume water monitor is to locate your water meter and check that it is compatible with the device. Therefore, it is recommended to review the Flume installation guide and consult with a professional plumber or Flume customer support if you have any questions or concerns.
